you couldn't tell it but it's from our rooftop camera, michael and son weather cam. high was 72. it is still 72. temps have not gone down at all. dew point is 70, which is miserable for early october, quite frankly. and winds are light and the pressure is 2 mpled 926 inchesof mercury. we're going to go from pea soup to a dust storm in paris, california, in riverside county. it's not super big but it gets bigger, and i tell you what, this is spinning just like a little tiny tornado. it's a violently rotating column of air just picking up dust. that's how we can see it. this actually produced a little bit of damage, as it moved off to the north and the east. you didn't see that too often in california. you see it more often in arizona. let's go back to the maps. we'll talk about the next system heading our way. we've got the system just kind of drifting into western kentucky, but the warm front, and that's really the key, is finally going to go through us tomorrow. that's going to do a couple of things. it will make us warmer and give us more sunshine than today. we pretty much hav

what do you think, michael? i thought we were going to hit brown on something just as dubious in a minute. >> i agree with susan on that, and i think it speaks to the overall tone in the senate and in the house, quite frankly, that you can't work with anybody. god forbid you actually announce ahead of time before an election that you intend to work with the other side to solve the nation's problems. i think she fell into that trap. i think susan had the right answer, the best answer would have been, i'm going to the senate to work on the people's business. that means working with everyone who's a colleague in the senate to solve the problem. so i'm not going to pick one side or the other. i'm there to work to solve the problems. i think that would have put her in a better position if you push back -- if david pushed back and said, well, specifically someone? then she could say, look, you're trying to divide me, divide my job up even before i get to do it. that's not how i'm going in to do and be a u.s. senator.

outside on our michael & son weather camera, lots and lots of fog in northwest d.c. with a temperature of 72. dew point up to 70. that's some very sticky tropical air in place. humidity 94%. but we've got cooler air showing up across the northern rockies today. highs in great falls will be in the low 40s. maybe the 30s. that's it. in yellowstone with 70s and 80s in many areas in the central plains. some rain and snow now moving in the plains. we're watching the moisture coming up from florida streaming northeastward. it's been a wet several weeks across the sunshine state moving into the carolinas with showers. this is where it looks like the main axis of rain will stay today south and east of us. we'll see a pop-up shower i think in the afternoon just because there's so much humidity around. you throw in some sunshine. it's like boiling a pot of water. you start to get some bubbles to pop. that's what i think we'll see here but not too many. not too much in the way of fog returning. during the day on thursday, could be an isolated shower south and east in the mornin
